Salesforce is the most popular CRM system used by businesses worldwide. It has over 200 million users and is growing rapidly. It has many features, but most aren’t useful unless you use them properly.
But sometimes, it gets cluttered with unnecessary features. Chrome Extensions add functionality to your browser without installing any additional software. Most of these extensions work fine, even if you aren’t using Salesforce.
Salesforce has many cool features but also a ton of bloatware. Seeing some of the extra stuff removed from the app would be nice. Luckily, many free chrome extensions make Salesforce more useful.
There are tons of great Chrome Extensions available for Salesforce, but not all are worth installing. This post will share the top Chrome Extensions for Salesforce to help you get more done faster.
They cover everything from adding new fields to your contacts to making Salesforce mobile friendly.
If you’re looking for a way to increase productivity while working with Salesforce, these extensions should be on your list.
Salesforce Chrome Extensions for Managing Contacts and Communication
Salesforce has announced a brand new app called Cirrus Insight. This extension makes it easier for you to sync your Gmail accounts with your Salesforce org. This tool can import contacts, leads, opportunities, tasks, events, etc., into your Salesforce instance.
The biggest highlight of this extension is that it lets you easily transfer data from one system to another without going through multiple steps. For example, let’s say you want to add a lead to your CRM.
Instead of creating a new opportunity, you can simply select the email address and hit “Add Lead.” Similarly, you can sync emails with your Salesforce org and create new cases based on the information found in those emails.
Cirrus Insight is free to download and install. However, you need to subscribe to a paid plan to access the above features.
You can get the Cirrus Insight chrome extension for free from here.
Tuvis for WhatsApp and Salesforce
Salesforce announced today it’s partnering with Tuvis, a mobile app that lets companies manage customer conversations via WhatsApp. The integration makes it easier for sales teams to engage with potential customers and convert those contacts into leads.
With Tuvis, your go-to-market team can easily create leads, view contacts, and copy chats into CRM. In addition, they can use the tool to send messages directly to contacts without opening another chat window.
The feature works like a charm, but there are some caveats. For example, the app doesn’t work with every device.
You’ll need to download the app onto iOS devices and Android phones running version 8.0 or later. And, because the app isn’t natively integrated with Salesforce, you’ll still need to add contacts to the system manually.
But overall, Tuvis is a great way to ensure your sales team always has access to information about your most important prospective buyers.
Sync Salesforce Contacts to Google by cloudHQ
Salesforce customers are familiar with connecting their CRM system to Gmail, Calendar, Drive, and other Google Apps.

CloudHQ is a free browser extension that syncs data across several Google accounts, including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Docs, and Forms. You can even use it to sync data between Salesforce and Google.

You can easily add additional data to contacts and segments and even research new prospects. And since it works across all standard editions of Salesforce, you don’t have to worry about compatibility issues.
DocSend is one of the best email marketing tools around. But it doesn’t just stop there.
With DocSend Chrome Extensions, you can automatically sync all your DocSend activity and visitor data (including lead lists, contact information, and opportunity status) into Salesforce.
You’ll always have complete visibility into what’s working and what isn’t across your sales pipeline.

All of this data helps you make smarter decisions about your next steps. And it makes your life easier- you no longer have to enter each piece of information manually.
You can simply update the records in Salesforce and watch everything happen automatically.
The extensions work like magic. They’re easy to install, set up, and use. After installing the extension, you’ll receive an email asking you to verify your account credentials.
Once verified, you can start syncing your DocSend data into Salesforce. To learn more about DocSend Extensions, check out the DocSend chrome extension here.
Salesforce Gmail Integration
Salesforce Gmail Integration lets you view all contacts, leads, and opportunities associated with email messages and appointments.
You can quickly access contact information, see what happened with a lead over time, and even create new records based on the information found in emails.
You can use the extension to view multiple contacts, leads, and opportunity records in one place. This makes it easier to find relevant information about each record and make changes across your organization.
The extension works seamlessly with Salesforce Inbox, giving you quick access to emails already saved in your inbox. With Salesforce Gmail Integration, you can create new records, update existing ones, and manage tasks associated with those emails.

However, it goes one step further by integrating with Salesforce to provide real-time insights into sales opportunities, account activity, deals, pipelines, and more.
The app can view reports, analyze data, schedule meetings, and manage tasks. This is a great tool for anyone looking for a solution that combines CRM and G Suite.

The extension also has a Login As feature that lets you switch between multiple Salesforce users within the same browser window.
With this extension, you can easily export a changelog, removing items simply by clicking Remove.
Salesforce Chrome Extension that boosts productivity and functionality
Salesforce administrators and developers often jump from window to window while working with the platform. For example, they might open up a browser tab to check out some recent activity or look into a record that needs updating.
But what happens if there’s another task waiting to be completed? They might need to jump back to the main screen, navigate to another part of the app, and repeat the process.
With Salesforce Simplified, you can quickly see recent changes without returning to the main screen.
The extension works like this: When you log into Salesforce, it creates a shortcut on your desktop that opens up a mini version of the application.
You can now use keyboard shortcuts to move around the interface, work with records, and even edit fields.
If you want to view a specific record, just type in the object’s name and press Enter. And if you want to add or update a field, simply type in the value and press Enter again.
You can also make changes directly from the extension. Just select a record and hit Enter. Or, if you want to bulk change multiple records, choose the option to modify multiple records at once.
Org Header for Salesforce
You may find yourself working in several sandboxes at once, resulting in many open tabs and forgetting what sandbox you are working in. If you want to limit your work to a single sandbox, keeping track of where you left off can sometimes be difficult.
With the help of this Salesforce Chrome extension for administrators, you can now easily create headers for each of the sandboxes you use in your organization.
Org Header Chrome extension allows you to create headers containing information about the sandbox’s current state.
For example, you could add a header containing the name of the sandbox, the date and time you opened it, or the number of records you added to it. These headers are easy to identify because they always start with the prefix “Sandbox_.”
The best part of this extension is that it automatically creates a header whenever you switch sandboxes.
So whether you are switching between different versions of the same sandbox or moving from one sandbox to another, you won’t ever forget what sandbox you are working in again.
You can check out the Org Header chrome extension here.

Enhance Salesforce Dashboard
Dashboards are one of the most powerful features in Salesforce. They allow you to monitor critical metrics across multiple accounts, campaigns, leads, opportunities, deals, and contacts. However, dashboards aren’t always easy to use.
You’re given limited options for how often you want to refresh your data, and there’s no way to change the refresh interval. Now, you’ll be able to see real-time information “up to the second” and choose how frequently you’d like to view it.
Enhance Salesforce Dashboard allows you to configure auto-refresh frequency, duration, and date range. You can do so easily if you’re looking to track a specific metric over time, such as conversion rates.
ZaapIT for Salesforce
Salesforce is a powerful tool for businesses tracking customer activity across multiple channels. However, it’s easy to lose track of what customers do once they leave your site, especially if you don’t use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
ZaapIT for Salesforce helps you keep track of every interaction your customers have with your brand. You can easily see how many times someone visited your site, what products they viewed, and whether they added items to their cart or purchased something else.
With ZaapIT, you can automatically merge duplicate records into a single one. This saves you time and ensures you never miss out on important information about your customers.
The extension provides many useful features, including:
- Search for duplicates – Find duplicates across multiple objects such as contacts, opportunities, leads, accounts, cases, tasks, events, etc.
- Merge duplicates – Automatically merge duplicate records into a master record.
- Backup log/file – Export the current state of the database to a file or export the database to CSV format.
- Bulk update – Update thousands of records at once.
- Email alerts – Get notified via email whenever there are changes to your database.
Whitelist All IPs for Salesforce
To confirm whether a user can log into Salesforce without entering a verification code, you need to whitelist their IP address. This is because Salesforce uses IP addresses to identify visitors and block unauthorized access.
However, there are situations where you might want to allow a certain number of IP addresses to bypass this security measure.
For example, if you’re hosting a webinar, you’ll want to let people register without entering a verification code. In that case, you’d need to whitelist a specific range of IP addresses.
There are many ways to do this, but we’ve found one simple way that works well. With a free extension, you can easily whitelist all IP addresses or set up a list of static IPs that you know won’t change over time.
To start, open the extension and select “Whitelisted IP Addresses.” Click “+ Add New,” type in the IP address(es), and hit Save. Now, whenever someone tries to sign in to Salesforce, it will automatically add their IP address to the list.
You can also choose to whitelist dynamic IP addresses. This allows you to whitelist IP addresses based on the visitor’s location.
For example, if your organization hosts a webinar, you could whitelist all IP addresses within a particular region. Or, if you’re running a campaign, you could whitelist every IP address in North America.
Salesforce.com Id Clipper
Salesforce.com ID Clippers allows you to get Salesforce.com ID values directly from records and links to your clipboard. This extension works with both Lightning Experience and Classic versions of Salesforce. You can copy your ID value into a spreadsheet, email, chat window, etc.
The extension adds a button to the record detail view called “Clip ID.” When clicked, it opens a modal dialog box where you can select the type of data you want to save.
If you save a Salesforce.com ID, the ID value appears in the Clipboard. You can paste it anywhere, including into a document, chat window, etc., and it will automatically clean up the ID value.
You can also copy the ID value to your clipboard by pressing Ctrl+C. Then, you can paste it anywhere, such as into a chat window or a spreadsheet, and the Id value will be cleaned up.
In addition, if you view a link and press Ctrl+Click, the ID value will be copied to your clipboard.
When you open the modal dialog box, there is a dropdown menu next to the text field where you can specify what type of information you want to save. There are three options: Salesforce.com ID Value, Salesforce.com Link, and Salesforce.com Email Address.
You can also set the default behavior for future instances. For example, you can ensure that every time you click the button, it saves a Salesforce.com ID value. Or, you can set it always to save a Salesforce link whenever possible.
There is also a checkbox to enable/disable the feature. You can download Salesforce.com ID Clippers Chrome Extension here.
Salesforce Navigator for Lightning makes navigating Salesforce easier than ever. You can quickly find anything you want to do on Salesforce simply by typing what you’re looking for into the navigation bar.
With just one tap, you can quickly open any page within Salesforce, whether it’s a record, task, lead, opportunity, case, campaign, etc., and start working.
You don’t have to know where the information you want is located; Salesforce Navigator does the heavy lifting.
Type “Create New Task,” and you’ll see a dropdown menu with options like Create Case, Create Opportunity, Create Account, etc. So easy!

RingDNA Intelligent Dialer
Cold calling is tough. You don’t know what type of person you’re talking to, how much they value your product/service, or whether they want to talk to you. But there are some things you can do to increase your odds of success.
One of those things is to automate your phone calls. If you’ve ever tried to call a list of numbers, you know how difficult it can be to keep track of where you left off and how many times you had to start over.
And while most people have a basic understanding of how to use a computer, very few understand how to use a telephone.
RingDNA is a free app designed to help you manage your cold-calling efforts. It helps you build lists based on location, gender, age, income level, job function, and more.
Then, it lets you schedule automated calls to each contact and track how many calls you make.
It also allows you to set up rules like “if nobody picks up within five minutes, try again later,” or “if I haven’t heard anything from a contact in three days, move them to my ‘do not call list.”
The app works with Android phones and iPhones and requires no setup whatsoever. Simply download it, sign into your account, and begin making calls. You can download the RingDNA Intelligent Dialer chrome extension here.
Salesforce hotkeys are very useful because they easily access records without opening another window, typing in the URL, and hitting enter.
You can add hotkeys to navigate to different parts of your sales force automation (SFA) account. For example, you could use the hotkey “c” to go directly to Contacts. Or, you could use the “p” hotkey to go straight to Opportunities.
You can set up hotkeys from within the Salesforce interface itself. From there, you’ll see a list of options. Select New and follow the prompts. Once you’ve added your hotkey(s), you can assign it to any object in your SFA account.
You can check out the Salesforce hotkeys chrome extension here.

You can even use the shortcut keys Ctrl + Shift + Y to open the SFID field in your clipboard and paste it into the URL bar.
The extension works great in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Edge, and IE 11+. You can download the Salesforce Id Paster chrome extension here.
Salesforce Colored Favicons
Salesforce recently launched a new feature called “Colored Favicons.” This allows you to change the default icon used by Salesforce for each organization.
You can also add icons for sandbox environments. For example, if you are running multiple organizations, you might want to ensure that every organization uses a different color. Or maybe you just prefer green over red. Either way, it’s easy to do.
The extension works by adding a small code to your existing Salesforce theme. Then, whenever you navigate to any record, it will update its icon. So, no matter what tab you’re on, whether it’s a contact, opportunity, lead, case, etc., you’ll see the same icon.
You can also show a second icon next to the main one. This is useful if you run multiple sandbox environments. In addition, there are options to hide the icon entirely or display the icon without text. You can download the Salesforce Colored Favicons chrome extension here.

You can also change the sorting criteria, such as alphabetically, most recent, or most popular. You can even sort by custom fields, like Created Date, Last Modified Date, etc., and view the data in different formats, including CSV, Excel, HTML, JSON, and XML.

You can simply type in a keyword related to your issue and determine whether something has changed in the backend. And because this works across multiple languages, you’ll never miss out on anything again.
The extension also adds support for custom fields and tooltips to make it easier to debug issues. You can check out the Salesforce Enhanced Code Searcher Chrome extension here.
Salesforce Change Set Helper
Salesforce Change Sets are powerful tools used to manage change requests in Salesforce. They allow teams to collaborate on changes without having to submit separate requests to update each record individually.
However, managing such many changes can be tedious and time-consuming.
This extension aims to make it easier for developers to work with Salesforce Change Sets by visualizing the last modified date for each component within a change set.
You can sort, filter, and compare changesets visually. And since it runs in Lightning Experience, it’s available everywhere.
Download the Salesforce Change Set Helper Chrome extension.
