Salesforce is the most popular CRM system used by businesses worldwide. It has over 200 million users and is growing rapidly. It has many features, but most aren’t useful unless you use them properly.
But sometimes, it gets cluttered with unnecessary features. Chrome Extensions add functionality to your browser without installing any additional software. Most of these extensions work fine, even if you aren’t using Salesforce.
Salesforce has many cool features but also a ton of bloatware. Seeing some of the extra stuff removed from the app would be nice. Luckily, many free chrome extensions make Salesforce more useful.
There are tons of great Chrome Extensions available for Salesforce, but not all are worth installing. This post will share the top Chrome Extensions for Salesforce to help you get more done faster.
They cover everything from adding new fields to your contacts to making Salesforce mobile friendly.
If you’re looking for a way to increase productivity while working with Salesforce, these extensions should be on your list.
Salesforce Chrome Extensions for Managing Contacts and Communication
Cirrus Insight
Salesforce has announced a brand new app called Cirrus Insight. This extension makes it easier for you to sync your Gmail accounts with your Salesforce org. This tool can import contacts, leads, opportunities, tasks, events, etc., into your Salesforce instance.
The biggest highlight of this extension is that it lets you easily transfer data from one system to another without going through multiple steps. For example, let’s say you want to add a lead to your CRM.
Instead of creating a new opportunity, you can simply select the email address and hit “Add Lead.” Similarly, you can sync emails with your Salesforce org and create new cases based on the information found in those emails.
Cirrus Insight is free to download and install. However, you need to subscribe to a paid plan to access the above features.
You can get the Cirrus Insight chrome extension for free from here.
Tuvis for WhatsApp and Salesforce
Salesforce announced today it’s partnering with Tuvis, a mobile app that lets companies manage customer conversations via WhatsApp. The integration makes it easier for sales teams to engage with potential customers and convert those contacts into leads.
With Tuvis, your go-to-market team can easily create leads, view contacts, and copy chats into CRM. In addition, they can use the tool to send messages directly to contacts without opening another chat window.
The feature works like a charm, but there are some caveats. For example, the app doesn’t work with every device.
You’ll need to download the app onto iOS devices and Android phones running version 8.0 or later. And, because the app isn’t natively integrated with Salesforce, you’ll still need to add contacts to the system manually.
But overall, Tuvis is a great way to ensure your sales team always has access to information about your most important prospective buyers.
You can download Tuvis for WhatsApp and Salesforce here.

Salesforce Chrome Extension that boosts productivity and functionality
Salesforce Simplified
Salesforce administrators and developers often jump from window to window while working with the platform. For example, they might open up a browser tab to check out some recent activity or look into a record that needs updating.
But what happens if there’s another task waiting to be completed? They might need to jump back to the main screen, navigate to another part of the app, and repeat the process.
With Salesforce Simplified, you can quickly see recent changes without returning to the main screen.
The extension works like this: When you log into Salesforce, it creates a shortcut on your desktop that opens up a mini version of the application.
You can now use keyboard shortcuts to move around the interface, work with records, and even edit fields.
If you want to view a specific record, just type in the object’s name and press Enter. And if you want to add or update a field, simply type in the value and press Enter again.
You can also make changes directly from the extension. Just select a record and hit Enter. Or, if you want to bulk change multiple records, choose the option to modify multiple records at once.
You can download Salesforce Simplified from here.
Org Header for Salesforce
You may find yourself working in several sandboxes at once, resulting in many open tabs and forgetting what sandbox you are working in. If you want to limit your work to a single sandbox, keeping track of where you left off can sometimes be difficult.
With the help of this Salesforce Chrome extension for administrators, you can now easily create headers for each of the sandboxes you use in your organization.
Org Header Chrome extension allows you to create headers containing information about the sandbox’s current state.
For example, you could add a header containing the name of the sandbox, the date and time you opened it, or the number of records you added to it. These headers are easy to identify because they always start with the prefix “Sandbox_.”
The best part of this extension is that it automatically creates a header whenever you switch sandboxes.
So whether you are switching between different versions of the same sandbox or moving from one sandbox to another, you won’t ever forget what sandbox you are working in again.

Enhance Salesforce Dashboard
Dashboards are one of the most powerful features in Salesforce. They allow you to monitor critical metrics across multiple accounts, campaigns, leads, opportunities, deals, and contacts. However, dashboards aren’t always easy to use.
You’re given limited options for how often you want to refresh your data, and there’s no way to change the refresh interval. Now, you’ll be able to see real-time information “up to the second” and choose how frequently you’d like to view it.
Enhance Salesforce Dashboard allows you to configure auto-refresh frequency, duration, and date range. You can do so easily if you’re looking to track a specific metric over time, such as conversion rates.
You can get Enhance Salesforce Dashboard Chrome Extension from here.
ZaapIT for Salesforce
Salesforce is a powerful tool for businesses tracking customer activity across multiple channels. However, it’s easy to lose track of what customers do once they leave your site, especially if you don’t use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
ZaapIT for Salesforce helps you keep track of every interaction your customers have with your brand. You can easily see how many times someone visited your site, what products they viewed, and whether they added items to their cart or purchased something else.

Whitelist All IPs for Salesforce
To confirm whether a user can log into Salesforce without entering a verification code, you need to whitelist their IP address. This is because Salesforce uses IP addresses to identify visitors and block unauthorized access.
However, there are situations where you might want to allow a certain number of IP addresses to bypass this security measure.
For example, if you’re hosting a webinar, you’ll want to let people register without entering a verification code. In that case, you’d need to whitelist a specific range of IP addresses.
There are many ways to do this, but we’ve found one simple way that works well. With a free extension, you can easily whitelist all IP addresses or set up a list of static IPs that you know won’t change over time.
To start, open the extension and select “Whitelisted IP Addresses.” Click “+ Add New,” type in the IP address(es), and hit Save. Now, whenever someone tries to sign in to Salesforce, it will automatically add their IP address to the list.
You can also choose to whitelist dynamic IP addresses. This allows you to whitelist IP addresses based on the visitor’s location.
For example, if your organization hosts a webinar, you could whitelist all IP addresses within a particular region. Or, if you’re running a campaign, you could whitelist every IP address in North America.
You can download Whitelist All IPs for the Salesforce chrome extension from here.

If you save a Salesforce.com ID, the ID value appears in the Clipboard. You can paste it anywhere, including into a document, chat window, etc., and it will automatically clean up the ID value.
You can also copy the ID value to your clipboard by pressing Ctrl+C. Then, you can paste it anywhere, such as into a chat window or a spreadsheet, and the Id value will be cleaned up.
In addition, if you view a link and press Ctrl+Click, the ID value will be copied to your clipboard.
When you open the modal dialog box, there is a dropdown menu next to the text field where you can specify what type of information you want to save. There are three options: Salesforce.com ID Value, Salesforce.com Link, and Salesforce.com Email Address.
You can also set the default behavior for future instances. For example, you can ensure that every time you click the button, it saves a Salesforce.com ID value. Or, you can set it always to save a Salesforce link whenever possible.
There is also a checkbox to enable/disable the feature. You can download Salesforce.com ID Clippers Chrome Extension here.

RingDNA Intelligent Dialer
Cold calling is tough. You don’t know what type of person you’re talking to, how much they value your product/service, or whether they want to talk to you. But there are some things you can do to increase your odds of success.
One of those things is to automate your phone calls. If you’ve ever tried to call a list of numbers, you know how difficult it can be to keep track of where you left off and how many times you had to start over.
And while most people have a basic understanding of how to use a computer, very few understand how to use a telephone.
RingDNA is a free app designed to help you manage your cold-calling efforts. It helps you build lists based on location, gender, age, income level, job function, and more.
Then, it lets you schedule automated calls to each contact and track how many calls you make.
It also allows you to set up rules like “if nobody picks up within five minutes, try again later,” or “if I haven’t heard anything from a contact in three days, move them to my ‘do not call list.”
The app works with Android phones and iPhones and requires no setup whatsoever. Simply download it, sign into your account, and begin making calls. You can download the RingDNA Intelligent Dialer chrome extension here.

The extension works great in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Edge, and IE 11+. You can download the Salesforce Id Paster chrome extension here.
Salesforce Colored Favicons
Salesforce recently launched a new feature called “Colored Favicons.” This allows you to change the default icon used by Salesforce for each organization.
You can also add icons for sandbox environments. For example, if you are running multiple organizations, you might want to ensure that every organization uses a different color. Or maybe you just prefer green over red. Either way, it’s easy to do.
The extension works by adding a small code to your existing Salesforce theme. Then, whenever you navigate to any record, it will update its icon. So, no matter what tab you’re on, whether it’s a contact, opportunity, lead, case, etc., you’ll see the same icon.
You can also show a second icon next to the main one. This is useful if you run multiple sandbox environments. In addition, there are options to hide the icon entirely or display the icon without text. You can download the Salesforce Colored Favicons chrome extension here.
